CUSCO ALONE TOGETHER BY DANIEL MALKA
People often sweep poetry and love out of their lives.
Yet, they go seeking it in the words and souls of others to appease their own.
SITTING STONE ALONE TOGETHER BY DANIEL MALKA
Some mornings it’s me
Some mornings
It’s you
Others
It’s Pablo
Some evenings
It’s me
Others
It’s the wind
Sometimes it’s your smiles
Others our tears
Sometimes it’s lies
Others betrayal
Sometimes it’s forgiveness
Others the past
Sometimes it’s my shadow
Others ours
But the lovers are gone
The lovers are gone
So is the rain and the snow
But not the light
Not the light
And I waited
I waited for the truth
But I waited
I waited for the truth
I waited alone
The truth came alone
I waited together
Your fears came alone
so
I waited alone together
My dreams came together

LIMA ALONE TOGETHER BY DANIEL MALKA
“I’ll go braving everything
With you swallowing the shine of the summer
I’ll go braving everything
Through the shine of the sun
But I won’t be no runaway
Cause I won’t run”
NERUDA ALONE TOGETHER BY DANIEL MALKA
Poema 1

ALONE TOGETHER WE ARE BY DANIEL MALKA
Destiny is like a soul mate; you can go around it, you can go over it, you can go under it, you can run away, but eventually it is unavoidable. It reminds you in your dreams, in your sleep, in thoughts, in the paths you cross that all happens for a reason and that it is much bigger than distance, silence and time.

Because whether we worry or not, everything falls into place.

DEJA ME QUE TE HABLE TAMBIEN… by DANIEL MALKA
Pablo Neruda / Poema 15
PARA MI CORAZON PARA TU LIBERTAD by Daniel Malka
Para mi corazón basta tu pecho,
para tu libertad bastan mis alas.
Pablo Neruda
Yo desperté y a veces emigran y huyen
pájaros que dormían en tu alma.
Poem 12
For my heart your breast suffices,
For your freedom my wings suffice.
From my mouth will arrive toward heaven
what was sleeping above your soul.
Always in you, the dream of each day.
You arrive like the dew upon the inner flower.
You undermine the horizon with your absence.
You, like the wave, an eternal fugue.
I’ve said that that you sang in the wind,
as the pines and the masts do.
Like them you are tall and taciturn.
And you sadden quickly, as a voyage does.
Welcomer, like an old road.
Echos and melancholy voices people you.
I awoke, and on some occasions migrate and flee
the birds that were sleeping in your soul.
LEJANAS SON MIS PALABRAS BY DANIEL MALKA
Y las miro lejanas mis palabras
POEMA V
No me abandones.
POEM V
For you to hear,
my words
sometimes grow thin
as seagull tracks on the beach.
Necklace, drunken bell
for your hands smooth as grapes.
And I watch them from far away, my words.
They are more mine than yours.
They climb up my old pain like ivy.
As ivy climbs up humid walls.
You are the one to blame for this bloodthirsty sport.
They flee from my dark cavern.
You fill everything, you are in everything.
Before you they lived in the loneliness that you came to fill,
and they are more used to my sadness than you are.
Now I want them to say what I wish to tell you,
so that you will hear me as I want you to hear.
The wind of fear still sweeps them along.
Hurricanes in dreams sometimes still strike them down.
You hear other voices in my bitter voice.
Cries from old mouths, the blood of old pleas.
Love me, my companion. Don’t desert me. Follow me.
Follow me, my companion, in this wave of fear.
But my words are tinged with your love.
You inhabit everything, you are in everything.
I will make an endless necklace out of my words
for your white hands, smooth as grapes.
Pablo Neruda
I CAUGHT THE DARKNESS by Daniel Malka
She said just drink it up
I caught the darkness, it was drinking from your cup
I caught the darkness drinking from your cup
I said is this contagious?
You said just drink it up.
I said is this contagious
She said just drink it up
I got no future,
I know my days are few
The presence not the pleasant
Just a lot of things to do
I thought the past would last me
But the darkness got that too
I shoulda seen it coming
It was right behind your eyes
You were young ant it was summer
I just had to take a dive
When I knew was easy, the darkness was the price.
I don’t smoke no cigarette, I don’t drink no alcohol
I ain’t had much loving yet
But that’s always been your call
Hey I don’t miss it baby
I got no taste for anything at all
I used to love the rainbow
And I used to love the view
Another early morning, I’d pretend that it was you
But I caught the darkness baby
And I got it worse than you
I caught the darkness, it was drinking from your cup
I caught the darkness drinking from your cup
I said is this contagious?
You said just drink it up
